I know, it's been awhile since I've written a good, in-depth post. There are reasons (a.k.a. excuses), but I promise I'll get one up soon. In the meantime, enjoy these pictures of what I did with that crazy pile of crafting supplies.

Cim wanted to be a princess...

Mari wanted to be a dinosaur...

And we knew they'd each want whatever the other had.

So they got to be dinosaur princesses.

I didn't want to be left out!

And neither did Dad (though I didn't get his tutu made in time--that red tulle will have to be put to use elsewhere).

And who doesn't like having a family of t-rexes stomping around the neighborhood?

Happy Halloween!

  1. Oh my gosh - SO CUTE! And so fun! ;) I love it. Though I'm a little sad not to see the daddy dinosaur princess, you know. ;) Our girls really ARE soulmates!

    1. I know, he was disappointed about that too. He still got to be his childhood toy, however--we matched the colors and design of his costume to the dinosaur he picked out at the store when he was 4, which was his comfort object for years.

And yes, Kate seems like such an adorable mix of both my girls--they need to meet!

  2. So adorable, Shannon! WOW!!! What lucky little girls to have an amazing mommy like you! :)

    1. Thanks! I figured there's no telling what I'll feel up to doing next year, so this year I'd just as well go all-out. Plus, I figure as our kids get older they'll start using Ryan's and my costumes, and my green iridescent one just screams "dragon." I'm just setting myself up to be ahead of the game. ;-)
